1. Who we are

Nurselingua is operated by an individual (Urrehman, mizzymedia.ai@gmail.com) as an educational practice platform for internationally-trained nurses preparing for German-language healthcare communication. Full contact details are on the Legal & Contact page.

2. What we collect

• • Account data: email address and sign-in method.
• • Profile data you provide: profession, country, native language, German level, target date.
• • Practice data: your conversation transcripts with the AI, vocabulary lookups, and readiness scores from completed sessions.
• • Subscription status (plan, renewal date) — payment processing is handled entirely by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your card details and is responsible for VAT; we never receive or store full card numbers.
• • Basic product analytics (page views, feature usage) — only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner.

All practice scenarios are entirely fictional and created for language-learning purposes. No real patient data is ever entered into or processed by this platform — the only personal data involved is your own account and practice data.

3. AI processing

To run the Patient Simulator and Interview Coach, your written responses are sent to Anthropic's API to generate in-character replies and score your performance. We use Anthropic's API under terms that exclude using your data to train their models. This is a data-processing relationship, not a data sale.

4. Where your data is stored

Your account and practice data are stored with Supabase, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany), with encryption in transit and at rest. Supabase acts as a data processor under our instructions.

5. Payments and Paddle

Subscriptions are billed at €14.99/month by Paddle (paddle.com), who acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle is independently responsible for collecting your payment information, processing the transaction, and remitting applicable VAT. We receive only your subscription status from Paddle; your card details are never shared with us. Paddle's own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data, and to withdraw analytics consent at any time. You can export a copy of your data or permanently delete your account directly from your Account page — no email required. For any other requests contact mizzymedia.ai@gmail.com.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and session security. Analytics cookies (PostHog) are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner; you can decline and the product works identically either way.
